About the Taster Course
Neurodiversity in Workplaces: Inclusive Leadership is a self-study taster course designed to give you practical tools and frameworks to start your neuroinclusive leadership journey.
Learn at Your Own Pace
Whether you want to dive in and complete everything in just one day, or spread your learning out over a month with 60–90 minutes per week, this course adapts to your schedule. Plus, you’ll get access to our private Facebook community to connect, share, and grow alongside other professionals.
What You’ll Learn
By the end of this taster course, you’ll be able to:
- Understand the principles of neurodiversity and inclusion in the workplace
- Identify common barriers that affect neurodivergent employees
- Apply inclusive language and frameworks to improve team culture and communication
- Begin building psychological safety within your team
Foundations of Neurodiversity
and Inclusive Language
You’ll explore how traditional workplace norms can unintentionally create barriers and discover inclusive strategies to support diverse ways of thinking. Learn how to foster psychological safety and build a culture where all employees can thrive.
The course includes:
- 13 videos short 5-10 minute videos
- 2 readings
- 3 graded short assessments to test progress as you go.
Suggested Time Frame
This course is designed to be flexible depending on your schedule and learning style.
Option 1:
Complete in One Day
- Work through all 13 short videos (5–10 mins each), 2 readings, and 3 graded assessments in a single focused day.
- Total commitment: around 4–5 hours.
Option 2:
Spread Over a Month
- Take 60–90 minutes per week.
- Week 1: Videos 1–5 + Reading 1 + Assessment 1
- Week 2: Videos 6–9 + Reading 2 + Assessment 2
- Week 3: Videos 10–13 + Assessment 3
- Week 4: Optional reflection and workplace action plan.
